Sharing our words
“You need to share your writing with more people, they are longing to reach further and our world needs it.”
Writing is very intimate for me, the parts that end up on paper are sometimes the thoughts and emotions that I’ve been clinging on for far too long all by myself or they are complete nonsense if you don’t follow the winding roads in my mind who ends up with the conclusions she does.
I think I’ve started this next paragraph 10 times realizing I am already lost in my own way of being.
Quieting the mind has been my biggest gift for myself, it can be tiring and annoying and not at all fun but taking the time to sit and be with me and the generator of the thoughts in my mind has been and is revolutionary.
So maybe that’s where I’ll end this entry. Knowing that whatever wants to be written was meant to be written, the thought generator in my mind is heavily questioning this choice, but so is the ego’s purpose, to protect us from anything new, scary and uncomfortable. So making out of the winding thoughts and not choosing to identify with them, is my radical act of self care this evening.
